POSITION SUMMARY

Velocity Global is looking for a Senior Information Security Engineer to join our growing Security team.  This position is to be based in the United States, with occasional travel to our Colorado office.  This full-time position will be responsible for advanced understanding across a broad range of security technologies and systems. Additionally, they will be technically savvy in configuring and implementing security control standards across all kinds of technologies. In addition, the ideal candidate will understand threats, risks, vulnerabilities, and industry-leading control standards for cloud-enabled systems and service delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 5+ years experience working in Information Security
  • 3+ years working as an Information Security Engineer
  • 3+ years’ people leading experience
  • Hands-on experience with five or more of the following Information Security solutions/systems such as DLP, Data at Rest Encryption, SIEM, Logging & Monitoring, CIAM, Proxy, DKIM, SSO, Vulnerability Mgmt, MFA, Always on VPN, Asset Inventories, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, Cyber Risk, Threat Intelligence, Cyber Resiliency, AWS Cloud Security
  • Ability to generate written reports, dashboards, and support documentation
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English – Read, Write, Expound
  • Ability to exhibit thought leadership, high-level problem solving, and excellence in understanding and delivering to meet business goals
  • Desire to be part of a great team and to be a net gain for the team
  • Ability to work and excel in a remote work environment

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • CISSP, CISM, or other security certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working in EOR, PEO, or other people technology enterprises
