At Velocity Global, helping businesses grow globally isn’t just our mission—it’s the foundation of the culture we’re creating from the inside out. Some of the most powerful forces shaping that mission are the women engineers redefining what it means to lead, innovate, and grow in tech. Across roles and time zones, these women are crushing career goals while driving global impact.
Meet four of the women who are showing what’s possible when talent meets opportunity in our people-first culture.
Neta Iser, Senior Director of Data
When Neta discovered Velocity Global, the bold vision of enabling borderless teams instantly resonated with her. It felt both timely and meaningful in today’s global work environment.
As she went through the interview process, she found a culture that matched the mission.
“We spend a significant portion of our lives at work, so it’s essential to feel that sense of belonging,” she says. “The people I interacted with embodied the kind of culture I want to be part of: collaborative, kind, and mission-driven.”
As Neta has progressed as a leader at Velocity Global, she appreciates that professional development isn’t an afterthought—it’s a priority.
“We’re transparent about career paths and progression, and one of the key ways we evaluate managers is by how effectively they support and grow their team members. It’s not just about delivering results; it’s about nurturing talent and building strong, empowered teams,” Neta says.
Neta emphasized what an exciting time it is to join Velocity Global as an engineer, helping to shape the architecture and build a world-class team from the ground up.
“If you love learning and building, this is the place to be. We’re designing highly scalable systems in complex and evolving domains like human resource information systems (HRIS) and fintech.
We work closely with product, so it’s not just about picking up a Jira ticket, it’s about understanding how your next merge request directly impacts the product and our customers.”
Most importantly, she emphasized, when it comes to innovation, leadership is all-in on experimenting, taking initiative, leveraging AI, and bringing new ideas to life.

Kathleen Reddick, Senior Software Engineer
Since joining Velocity Global in 2022, Kathleen Reddick has worked across critical systems from securing logins to streamlining user experiences. Yet she still finds time to support her female colleagues and fellow leaders.
Last year, she founded She Leads, an internal mentorship group for women that fosters community, leadership, and personal growth. Kathleen was already active in Velocity’s Global’s female networking group, the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN). As a subgroup of WIN, She Leads helps bring aspiring leaders together in mentorship circles and provides additional educational materials to work on specific skills like public speaking.
She Leads quickly had a ripple effect of empowerment across the company, as dozens of women circled together to mentor one another and work through challenges together.
Kathleen is happy to work for a company where opportunity abounds for everyone. In a smaller company, there's a lot of space to contribute something, she said. “There are always projects that need someone to lead them or to take ownership.”
Taking that ownership and then delivering on it can quickly turn into more and bigger opportunities.
She also appreciates that great ideas matter more than hierarchy at Velocity Global.
“If you have an idea, it’s not always going to be easy to get it done—but I’ve never had anyone tell me I can’t do it.”

Cassandra Anderson, Staff Software Engineer
Cassandra Anderson didn’t just find a job at Velocity Global—she found her people.
“The folks I met during the interview process became some of the people I worked with most closely and really bonded with. My teams here, both past and present, are the ones that made me comfortable enough to come out here and start living my best life both in and out of work.”
Cassandra has stepped into an Architect role, tackling complex challenges like developing a service map across dozens of codebases. She’s helping break down silos by leveraging AI tools to visualize system flows—increasing visibility and opening up collaboration between teams.
Cassandra is candid about the pressures that come with career growth, especially for women climbing the ladder in tech.
She emphasizes the role of time management and delegation in getting everything done. You can’t do it all alone—and at Velocity Global, you don’t have to.
“We have ample talented engineers at various points in their careers, and we’ve been actively restructuring to have a more appropriate skill tree distribution. The AI tooling Velocity Global provides enables engineers at all skill levels to delegate.”
She sees ownership as the biggest opportunity and path to growth for rising engineers.
“Many chances arise for women to try their hand at tech leadership—especially for those who have taken ownership of their corner of engineering (even co-ownership is acceptable and encouraged) and take pride in delivering a finely engineered product.”

Patty Chu, VP of Technical Program Management
For Patty, joining Velocity Global was an easy decision since the company excels in her must-haves: the long-term, strategic vision from CEO, Francoise Brougher, and Chief Product & Technology Officer, Chien Chou; working with people who are passionate about the mission; and being able to make a significant impact.
“People here are real problem solvers, willing to experiment and find innovative solutions for our customers. Across the company, we demonstrate a high level of trust and partnership that enables us to deliver with both speed and quality,“ Patty said.
Continuous learning and a strong culture of knowledge sharing keep everyone driving toward common goals. Thanks to a collaboration with the marketing team, Patty recently attended a conference in the Bay Area to network with other HR and benefits leaders and customers.
Looking ahead, she sees big opportunities. “I’m really excited about our tech and product roadmap to drive growth, deliver an exceptional, self-serve customer experience in our EOR platform, and create a flywheel effect for our customers and our business. We’re also continuing to simplify our end-to-end systems for reduced complexity and greater efficiency,“ she said.
Overall vibe check? She credits Velocity Global’s inclusive hiring practices and strong team culture with helping her and others feel welcomed and empowered from day one.

Where Impact Meets Opportunity
From fostering inclusive mentorship to architecting scalable systems, these women are proving that leadership in tech comes in many forms—and that the future is brighter when more female voices are at the table. More than half of Velocity Global’s current workforce is female, and the opportunities for women engineers continue to grow rapidly.
