POSITION SUMMARY

Velocity Global, is looking for a Cash Application Specialist to join our growing Finance team.  This position is to be based in the United States and is fully remote. The Cash Application Specialist is responsible for the application of cash paid to outstanding invoices and will work with the Billing Specialists to resolve outstanding, unapplied cash.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Process, research and record accounts receivable payments/credits in multiple currencies
  • Reconcile receivable accounts to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Communicate with vendors, enter bills and ensure bills are paid on time
  • Reconcile corporate credit cards
  • Reconcile several multi-currency cash accounts to bank statements
  • Prepare adjusting, reversing, or reclassification journal entries where needed during month-end close
  • Prepare accounts receivable aging reports at month end

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree in Accounting and two years cash application experience required
  • NetSuite and Bill.com experience preferred
  • Experience in analyzing data
  • Solid experience managing accounts receivable 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

General Ledger Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a General Ledger Specialist to join our growing Global India Finance Team. This full-time position will be responsible for a broad range of corporate finance responsibilities across the globe, including supporting local financial and accounting reporting, oversight of daily operations for regional entities, assisting with preparing financial statements, tax returns, and more. This individual will report to our Finance Specialist.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The General Ledger Specialist supports the Global India Finance Team with the monthly and annual close process. This includes
  • Preparation of monthly reconciliations for the Income statement accounts, such as pass-through and overheads.
  • With appropriate supporting documents, prepare journal entries relating to accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and more.
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable aging reports, fixed asset workings, and more.
  • Assist in preparing Month on Month variance analysis for income statement.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation for Intercompany accounts and ensure the intercompany balances are correct.
  • Managing journal entries and ensuring proper general ledger coding in support of monthly closings.
  • Managing and updating the Fixed Assets register.
  • Ongoing maintenance of key finance trackers.
  • Strengthen and grow relationships with internal Finance stakeholders and generally respond to all inquiries from internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with Financial audits for the entities.
  • Assisting with NetSuite projects, clean-up, and maintenance, working with internal Finance teams.
  • Execute global bank account reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation of local month-end processes, including the maintenance of the day-to-day journal entries and bookkeeping tasks
  • Assist with process improvements and automation projects

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required

  • Graduate in Accounting/Finance or equivalent working experience required
  • 2+ years of accounting/finance experience is required, preferably in a general accounting role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work with a wider global team and across different time zones if required.
  • Technology-literate, including Microsoft Suite and NetSuite
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a well-organized manner

 POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently looking to hire a Regional Finance Senior Associate – EMEA. This is a remote position in Europe. This full-time position is a highly impactful role within our Regional Finance EMEA Team offering the successful candidate the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company that is creating an entirely new category, and is led by a veteran team in this unique industry space. This role calls for someone who is truly “high velocity,” where resourcefulness is key to success. This position is well suited for an analytically minded, detail-oriented, and problem-solving person who loves navigating finance-based challenges and who can assist in the day-to-day finance operations while driving process improvements to increase efficiencies.

The right candidate has a relentless zeal to contribute and should have an affinity towards matters of international growth and employment. There is a constant opportunity for competency development, as the successful candidate will learn and immerse themselves into the unique business model of Velocity Global. This individual will report to the Regional Finance Senior Manager. The position encompasses a broad range of corporate finance roles and responsibilities across the EMEA region, including the support of local financial reporting, oversight of daily operations for certain European entities, preparation of financial statements, tax returns and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the local month-end close processes and maintenance of the general ledgers
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly account reconciliations and financial reporting deliverables, including being responsible for bank reconciliation processes
  • Oversight and support of day to day finance operations within EMEA Region
  • Prepare, record and adjust General Journal entries
  • Process, research and record invoices, payments and expenses
  • Perform monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations to ensure an accurate monthly accounting close process, including the review of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable accounts
  • Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedule
  • Work with local Vendors to assist in the preparation of local financial statements for relevant assigned entities
  • Work with local Vendors to assist with the preparation and review of Tax filings on a monthly/quarterly basis (including VAT returns)
  • Assist with process improvements and automation projects across the EMEA region
  • Special projects based upon the needs of the finance department

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant professional qualification in finance such as CA/ACCA/CPA (fully qualified preferred)
  • 4+ years of accounting/finance experience
  • NetSuite experience preferred
  • Foreign Currency transaction experience preferred
  • In-depth understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • In-depth understanding of accounting month close processes
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

We’re seeking a one-of-a-kind wordsmith and creative leader to manage and inspire our copy team. This is a role for an ever-curious verbal identity leader who seizes opportunity, lives to experiment, and boldly finds new ways to connect with people through a B2Human lens.

Reporting to the Creative Director, the Copy Director will lead copy initiatives for Velocity Global across marketing and brand—working on everything from concepting ideas, pitching them, and executing. We’re looking for someone who is a great collaborator, strategic thinker, and passionate about building and maintaining a consistent brand voice across marketing campaigns, digital, email, social, events and so much more. The Copy Director will lead a team of writers and content editors, and foster creative inspiration and fresh ideation while ensuring writing is accurate, on-brand, and engaging for our customers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead creative thinking and concepting in partnership with Creative and Brand counterparts to develop copy that resonates with Velocity Global’s audiences (both internal and external.)  

  • Lead a team of high performing copywriters—reviewing their work and providing guidance to advance the ideas best aligned to the creative brief and project scope.

  • Direct the copy team through daily deliverables such as writing and editing of persuasive copy for cross-channel campaign assets including sales materials, thought leadership, video/motion graphics, infographics, web copy, social media, and email.

  • Contribute to the overall Creative team vision, roadmaps, ideation, and creative strategy.

  • Get immersed in Velocity Global’s research, cultural insights, competitor messaging and industry trends to deepen customer understanding and speak authentically to appeal to the emotions of our audience.

  • Apply critical and conceptual thinking to brand and marketing strategies to develop smart, friendly and inspirational language that fits with the Velocity Global brand voice. 

  • Oversee the development of campaign copy for landing pages, social media, paid media, branded events, and other brand experiences.

  • Inspire and motivate the Copy team to consistently produce exceptional concepts and final work that deliver on strategic objectives.

  • Evolve Velocity Global’s writing style and work closely with the Director of Brand Strategy to uncover imaginative ways to strengthen our brand voice.

  • Manage workloads to maximize productivity of the copy team, ensuring that everyone is busy and working on projects suited to their strengths and are appropriately challenging. 

  • Partner with Creative Operations to refine and scale critical Copy processes.

  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

  • Work with the Brand Team leads to develop written content for our employer brand and internal communications.

  • Build and nurture an exceptional team of copywriters and editors—hire and manage fulltime and freelance writers, assign projects and develop team skills across long and short form content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Communications, Fine Arts or other related field preferred.

  • 8+ years of copy experience in campaign, brand, and product with a proven track record of messaging strategy development and execution.

  • 3+ years experience leading or managing a copy or editorial team in a high-growth, B2B, SaaS or tech environment. 

  • You have an established portfolio that displays integrated campaigns and effective, compelling B2C writing.

  • Your love for storytelling helps the development of engaging brand messaging that helps distinguish Velocity Global in the market.

  • You’re a skilled writer and editor with a keen grasp of language, advertising trends,  and an eye for detail.

  • You’re a seasoned pro at developing copy at scale, across multiple countries, and working with field marketers on localization strategies.

  • Experience overseeing the creative development of marketing campaigns from ideation to final copy.

Reporting to the Vice President of Brand Experience, the Creative Director will be a driving force behind creative initiatives for Velocity Global across marketing and brand. The Creative Director will lead and scale a multidisciplinary team of creatives, manage agency partners, and foster creative inspiration and ideation while ensuring all creative output is on brand and deeply compelling to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Evolve and scale the Creative Studio into a high-functioning, high-performing internal agency–owning team structure, operating model, resourcing, roadmap, budget, ideation, and creative strategy

  • Build and lead a team of powerhouse creatives—setting a foundational vision, asking the right questions, and providing guidance to advance the ideas that deliver on the brief and brand while pushing the boundaries

  • Lead creative thinking and concepting in partnership with Brand and Digital counterparts to develop creative work that resonates with Velocity Global’s audiences (both internal and external)  

  • Direct the creative team through daily deliverables such as generating cohesive concepts for cross-channel campaigns including sales materials, reports and product guides, video/motion graphics, infographics, website, social media, and email

  • Oversee the concepting, production, and release of creative outputs for global multi-channel campaigns, landing pages, social media, paid media, branded events, and other brand activations 

  • Get immersed in Velocity Global’s research, cultural insights, competitor visual identities and industry trends to deepen customer understanding and speak authentically to appeal to the emotions of our audience

  • Apply critical and conceptual thinking to brand and marketing strategies to develop beautiful and differentiated campaigns and collateral that reflect and strengthen the Velocity Global brand identity

  • Inspire and motivate the creative team to consistently produce exceptional work at each stage of development that delivers on strategic objectives

  • Evolve Velocity Global’s visual and verbal style and work closely with the Director of Brand Strategy to uncover imaginative ways to evolve and strengthen our brand identity over time

  • Work with the Creative Studio’s operations team members to develop resourcing strategies, maximize use of budget, and refine and scale critical creative processes across the project lifecycle 

  • Manage workloads to maximize productivity of the creative team, ensuring that everyone is efficiently resourced and working on projects suited to their strengths and growth areas 

  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with external agencies/freelancers and internal stakeholders across the organization and be able to persuasively pitch ideas to these groups

  • Serve as a brand ambassador and champion within the organization

  • Build and nurture an exceptional team of creative professionals in an inclusive environment—hire and manage full-time and freelance designers, copywriters, web developers, producers, photographers, videographers, animators, illustrators, and more 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in art, advertising, marketing, communications, journalism, or other adjacent field (degree/certificate not required)

  • 15+ years of creative/design experience in campaign, brand, and product with a proven track record of creative direction, management, and execution.

  • 5+ years experience leading or managing a creative team in a high-growth, B2B, SaaS, or tech environment

  • You have a robust portfolio that displays integrated campaigns and effective, compelling and innovative creative concepts across global brands and scrappy startups 

  • A blend of B2B and B2C experience preferred as well as experience building and operating an internal creative agency–experience agency side a plus

  • Experienced and skilled at developing and managing a yearly budget inclusive of staffing, production, and operations line items 

  • Experienced negotiating agency retainers, SOWs, and other creative production contracts

  • Fluency in a variety of software tools, including Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, etc.

  • An intimate understanding of design, writing, video, web, and advertising best practices/guidelines

  • Creative expertise and time in the trenches that encompasses a variety of mediums and communication channels

  • Ability to inspire/rally others and envision creative concepts

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, and diplomacy skills

  • A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts, and how to develop creative work that cuts through the noise globally

  • A foundation of hands-on, applicable experience—someone who can roll up their sleeves when necessary

We’re looking for a Compensation Analyst to join our Total Rewards inside our People Operations team. The Compensation analyst will help define and drive our global compensation strategies to attract, reward, and retain our highly talented team. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Within your first 30 days, you will dive deep into Velocity Global’s current compensation programs. You will also get to know our talent and teams, as well as how they contribute to Velocity Global’s success while building relationships with key stakeholders to understand current challenges and concerns.

  • Evaluate and market price positions at all levels of the organization utilizing external market data and internal position comparisons to make salary structure and pay grade recommendations. Consult with other members of the Compensation Team as needed.

  • Design and prepare reports to support various compensation analyses

  • Communicate and administer compensation policy and procedures and provide ongoing support to management and employees through compensation education to ensure a thorough understanding of pay programs.

  • Maintain the job leveling framework through the job evaluation process, ensuring that positions are evaluated against the established set of criteria and are leveled consistently across the organization, and partner on the warehousing of job descriptions

  • By month three, you will begin to identify opportunity areas and execute projects to continue to attract and retain talent globally.

  • Contribute to compensation projects as assigned, including research, development, and implementation of changes to compensation programs, policies, practices, or procedures.

  • By month six, you will be able to assist in our annual compensation review process. 

  • By the end of year one, you will have been instrumental in refining and implementing compensation programs in our various global markets.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Experience with Executive Compensation

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • 1-3 years of relevant Compensation experience

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred

  • Experience with salary survey participation, including data audits, validation, benchmarking and recommending additional compensation data sources (Radford, Mercer, Payscale...) 

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (e.g., working knowledge or ability to learn: vlookups, nested functions, pivot tables, charts/graphs, etc.)

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large amounts of information, discern patterns, compare results to legislation, past practice, compliance with policy, and internal equity, and make appropriate recommendations

  • HR/Compensation experience sufficient to frame and ask the "right questions" as part of the discovery and leadership process

  • AWS cloud security management
  • Vulnerability Management including, risk assessment, monitoring and remediation
  • Cyber Risk Management, treatment and mitigation

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Architect to lead the design and development of our next-generation cloud-based systems. The Chief Architect will be responsible for leading a team of architects, designing the system for scale, configurability, and performance. This role will play a critical role in shaping the direction of our technology and ensuring that our systems meet the needs of our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design and development of the company's cloud architecture
  • Manage and mentor a team of architects
  • Ensure the system is designed for scale, configurability, and performance
  • Collaborate with the CTO and other stakeholders to define and implement the company's technology strategy
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company's technology stays competitive
  • Ensure the company's technology architecture is aligned with the company's business goals

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on cloud-based systems
  • Proven experience leading a team of architects
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture, including experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience designing systems for scale, configurability, and performance
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • This role is ideal for an experienced architect who is looking to take the next step in their career and lead the design and development of a cutting-edge technology at a high-growth startup.

Job Title: NetSuite Administrator

Position Summary:

The NetSuite Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of the company’s NetSuite system. This includes the implementation of new functionality, troubleshooting and resolving system issues, and working with the team to optimize system performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain NetSuite system to meet business requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as they arise
  • Work with the team to optimize system performance
  • Implement new functionality as required
  • Provide training to users on system functionality
  • Manage system security and access controls
  • Stay current with new NetSuite releases and features
  • Work with other IT team members to ensure integration with other systems

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working with NetSuite
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite functionality and capabilities
  • Experience with system customization, including scripting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with system integration and data migration
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • NetSuite Administrator certification is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the full development lifecycle within NetSuite
  • Collaborate with Product Software team members to design and develop new features, perform code reviews and support QA
  • Primary areas of work will involve SuiteScript 2.x scripting and NetSuite technical configuration
  • Secondary areas of work may include AWS, Web Service integrations
  • Provide L2 support for team members and NetSuite users
  • Manage multiple engagements successfully by prioritizing tasks efficiently and estimating time commitments effectively.
  • Stay up to date with the latest features of NetSuite and the NetSuite ecosystem
