How Much Should Remote Jobs Pay?
To stay competitive and maintain top talent, companies will pay market rates or well above them. According to a list of current salaries from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, these rates range between $55,000–160,000 per year depending on the job. But even if a job is remote, it doesn’t mean that there is less work or responsibility within the role.
According to our Work in Progress Report, 37% percent of companies with a distributed workforce say that allowing remote work, providing more flexibility, and offering the freedom to travel on a digital nomad visa helps retain top talent.
