Senior Director, Global Payroll Transformation

Location: REMOTE - UNITED STATES

We are looking for a Senior Director of Global Payroll Transformation to join our global Payroll team.  You will facilitate the redesign and overhaul of our payroll systems and product integrations while executing global payroll strategy and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive standardization and optimization. You will collaborate with the product, tech, and payroll partner teams, among others, to prioritize process improvement initiatives and deliver a project roadmap to the VP of Global Payroll. You will have significant leadership accountability and change management responsibilities.

This role will be remote and based in the United States but will serve global teams. You will report to the Vice President for Payroll. 

You will:

  • Lead the Global payroll transformation efforts, including ensuring a seamless move to the chosen new global payroll platforms.
  • Contribute to gathering and validating business requirements and sign-off at each critical phase during the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain a relationship with key stakeholders both within Product, Tech, Finance, and related business units, and continuously optimize the service delivery and leadership model.
  • Confirm internal business readiness prior to deploying new processes and significant system enhancements.
  • Drive improvements and establish best-in-class processes for global payroll and related programs that meet jurisdictional compliance requirements, deliver outstanding employee support and enable our global expansion programs.
  • Lead project teams in the execution of change management priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Continuously partner with HRIT, Benefits, Finance, and other related organizations to ensure that the end-to-end payroll input and output processes are optimized.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance / Accounting, or related discipline.
  • At least 12 years of experience in facilitating technical transformations and/or process improvement, including at least 7 years of experience managing and building a team.
  • Strong working experience with using and improving various payroll platforms.
  • Expertise in general business operations, internal control concepts, and end-to-end global payroll processes.
  • Ability to think strategically and also act operationally– managing ambiguity and changing the direction of projects and strategies as needed.
  • Experience working with a geographically dispersed team and familiarity with business practices and cultures across multiple international regions.
